Find the question where your time disappears.

You don't need a new question bank to check your pacing. Use a practice section and questions you're already allowed to use. The goal is to notice where you slow down, not to chase a score on day one.

Pacing Pro is an independent practice timer. It is not affiliated with the SAT, ACT, College Board, or ACT, Inc.

One practice section, three steps

  1. Choose a familiar section. Open Pacing Pro and select its SAT or ACT template. Keep your practice questions separate and start the timer when you begin.
  2. Mark each transition. Tap Next when you move to another question. If you tap by mistake, use Undo. You can see total, section, and question time while you practice.
  3. Review just one pattern. After the session, look at per-question timing and overtime flags. Was there one question you stayed on much longer than intended? Pick one change to try next time, such as moving on sooner and returning later.

Keep the practice honest. This is for independent preparation, not for use during an actual exam. Follow the rules of your practice source and never share copyrighted questions or personal scores with us.

Try it free

SAT and ACT timing are available in Pacing Pro's free tier on iPhone and iPad. The app is available in the U.S. App Store and selected other storefronts, but not currently in mainland China.

The optional U.S. Full Version unlock is a one-time US$0.99 purchase; no subscription. An older store screenshot may still show US$2.99. Apple displays the current local price before purchase.

Help us improve the first session

If you try a practice section, tell us only two things: did the pace display help you notice a slow question, and what was confusing? No question text, answer, score, or screenshot needed.
